Harvest Revive Smoothie

As part of the #SummerofROO Instagram Challenge, co-hosted by Susie of @longrunergy and I, we are asking participants to share a daily ritual that nourishes, grounds, and reinvigorates your spirit. Green smoothies revive my spirit on a daily basis. As a young girl, I could have never imagined that I would crave a green drink, but, my taste buds have turned and a day does not feel complete without my green smoothie-fix. Lottie is passionate about plant based cooking and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. Her Instagram @runnningonveggies is one of the most creative, beautiful, and nutritious compilation of plant-based creations I have ever seen. Lottie lives in New York City and when she is not studying for college classes, she is selling raw/vegan deserts and developing recipes for the highly-regarded Candle Cafe. One of my favorite recipes on Lottie’s blog is her Monkey Bread. I adapted Lottie’s recipe …

Everything Oatmeal: My Go-To Breakfast

I have always been a big believer in eating a nutritious and filling breakfast. I often times have to eat breakfast on the go, pre class or post run, and thus love to have an easy-made meal. I created this “Everything Oatmeal” to include many of my favorite superfoods and all it needs is hot water! At the start of each week, I prepare individual oatmeal packs for my morning and this recipe reflects one morning’s serving. In addition, it features the delicious Nuttzo! Ingredients: 3/4 cup of quick oats (Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Quick Cooking Oats is my …
