Cashew Christmas Milk

Christmas time is always filled with feelings of nostalgia for me. It brings back many memories of family gatherings, midnight masses, and leaving cookies and milk for Santa. As a vegan, I enjoy almond milk on a daily basis, but recently decided to try making a milk with my favorite nut, cashews. Berry Nuttzo Bliss

Shamrock Kale Shake

On my morning run, I passed a McDonalds to see that they were selling Shamrock Shakes in spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. When I came home from my run, I made my usual green smoothie and was inspired to rename it the “Shamrock Kale Shake”– a healthier alternative! Ingredients:  1 cup of almond milk 1 frozen banana 1 cup of frozen mango A handful of kale 1 tablespoon of peanut butter In a blender, add the shake ingredients, and blend until smooth. Pour into a mason jar with a Cuppow lid. Drink immediately and celebrate the green goodness!
