As I mentioned in my Mystic Mountain Mama post, one of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge is Life Alive. They make scrumptious, nourishing meals that are primarily plant-based. I highly recommend visiting their restaurants if you are in the Boston area (they also have locations in Lowell and Salem)! My second love at Life Alive, after their Mystic Mountain Bowl, is their Coconut Alive Smoothie. Acai Bowl with Purely Elizabeth

This time last year, I was living on Oahu, Hawaii, studying at the University of Hawaii at Manoa One of my favorite treats I discovered on Oahu were acai bowls. They are a delicious, superfood-filled breakfast to get your day started on a tropical note! Summer Dreams “Cheesecake”

During the summer, two of my favorite treats are fresh lemonade and strawberries. This gluten-free, vegan “cheesecake” features these summer dreams and does not even need to be cooked in an oven. Enjoy this raw dessert!
