Caesar Salad Celebration

As a little girl, I would often steal my mother’s croutons since I considered them to be the best part of her caesar salad. After being diagnosed with celiac disease and transitioning to a plant-based diet, I no longer reached for the croutons and wondered whether I could remake a caesar salad that I could eat. When I was diagnosed with celiac disease in early high school, I was sad about all the foods I would miss, including my favorite tabbouleh from the Armenian market near my house (tabbouleh is traditionally made with couscous or bulgur). Mystic Mountain Mama

One of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge is Life Alive. They make scrumptious, nourishing meals that are primarily plant-based. I highly recommend visiting their restaurants if you are in the Boston area (they also have locations in Lowell and Salem)! My first love at Life Alive was their Mystic Mountain Bowl.
