Sage Canaday is a professional ultra-trail-mountain runner, filmmaker, coach, and author.

In this episode Sage shares his running background: from his his first 1500 meter win in seventh grade to his experience running at Cornell University. He discuses the power of mental strength when racing and how this allowed him to qualify for the Olympic trails in 2007 at the age of 21. Sage explores why he has transitioned to ultra and trail running from his time on the post-collegiate Hansons-Brooks Distance Project. He reveals upcoming races on his bucket list and 2014 calendar. Sage shares his perspective on rest and recovery from both his experiences as a coach and professional athlete. Lastly, Sage gives the inside scoop on his soon-to-be-released  film, MUT Runner.
